365 Cards Day 152 ~ Olympic Rings

For me, the Olympics is a celebration of nations coming together peacefully in the spirit of sports.  My card celebrates the event with flowers which look much like fireworks, using Less Is More Week 78 Sketch 6.

At other times, I would use only 2-3 colors to fit the CAS requirements but since it is the Olympics, I decided to make it colorful.  The flowers are die cut with Spellbinders' Carnation on the Cuttlebug, glued to a white card, mounted on the cardbase, edged with 2 strands of floral grosgrain ribbon.  The card is completed with Hero Arts leaf flourish stamp in the 5 colors.  Sentiment?  Together as ONE.
