Hello Friend Freshly Made

This card is freshly made for Freshly Made Sketches FMS69

I tipped the card to portrait and kept it clean,
blue and white with a contrast of yellow ribbons on white buttons.
Patterned papers are from DCWV Citrus Stack
along with plain blue and white card stocks.
Die cuts from Spellbinders Classic and Scalloped Circles.
Sentiment die cut from Cuttlebug.

This card may be suitable for CASology Week #27 BLUE.

Radiating Love

White is pure, white is bright.
White for baptism and confirmation.
White for weddings.
White for radiating love...

The card is a white on white with a tinge of red to spice it up a wee bit.
I used Cuttlebug's Swiss Dots and Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Hearts
for this CAS card.  No sentiment needed.  The heart speaks all.

Sending You a String of Hearts

This card is made for

Both challenges asked for flags/pennants/banners
but I don't have any and I was too lazy to hand cut any.
So I decided to make a flag of hearts
in support of the US Elections coming up.
I used my newly received Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Hearts in red,
mounted them on a piece of twine,
and held them in place with the blue buttons.
Sentiments from Hero Arts Clear Stamps Everyday Messages
in Momento Dew Drops Danube Blue and Lady Bug.

Certainly a red-white-blue card.
I'm rooting for the Democrats and Obama.
Sending you hugs and kisses with a string of hearts.

A CAS Card Made For Three or Four

One of the cards I thought I ruined turned out to good use when I decided to add some falling autumn leaves effect to the original green sprigs, like the wind carried the leaves away... and while taking a photo of the card, the wind did blow the card which had these leaves blowing in the wind.  And the embossing has the same effect of falling flowers, floating in the air...

This CAS card is made for three or even four...

The wind caught my card on the curtain and caused the tilt

Happy Green Frog for CASology Week 7

I have had this Cuttlebug die for a while and have never used it until now ~ a smiley green frog.  So I cut it together with the green fly that came with it, cut some waves (with Spellbinders Scalloped Square using only the edge in blue) for the water in the pond, popped in a lily pad, tore a piece of green paper (for Less is More Week 81 Theme: Tearing) and snipped it for a grass effect, and stamped in "Happy" (did not have "Hoppy"), and voila, a Happy Green Frog for a Beautiful Day!

365 Cards Day 133 ~ Misty

I have never used mists before for my cards, so I decided to try this one out with an old Dermologica spray bottle with some water, gum, paint and glitter dust.  Oh dear, the glitter dust blocked the spray nozzle!  So that batch was wasted (so was the spray).  Then I tried it with just water and paint and it worked!

Spritz the card with this light blue tone for the sky and added on this large flower to depict the sun(flower).  Die cut the leaves with the Cuttlebug.

The sun(flower) is the image I thought of the CASology's challenge for week 1.  How brilliant!
